TONIGHT’S ASSIGNMENT
Begin work on Essay # 4
This will be an exercise in
using particples to lengthen sentences
to see how Harper Lee uses participles,
and then be sure to use
at least two participles to lengthen a sentence
in tonight's paragraph.
In this essay, your job is to discuss the children's treatment of Boo Radley's privacy. Do you think they are mistreating him by trying to get him
to come out? Do you think they are invading his privacy?
Or, do you think they are simply having some harmless fun?
Tonight, on your blog,
write the opening paragraph
and
the first body paragraph.
Use the 11-sentence recipe and label the sentences.
Also, please include one long sentence
using at least two participles at the end.
